Giant Chocolate Chip Cookie
1/2 c. butter, softened
1/2 c. packed light brown sugar
1/4 c. sugar
1 egg
1 tsp. vanilla
1 1/3 c. self-rising flour
1 pkg. (6 oz.) semi-sweet chocolate chips
1/2 c. chopped nuts, optional
Cream butter, brown sugar and sugar until light and fluffy. Blend in egg and vanilla. Add flour; mix well. Stir in chocolate chips and nuts. Spread dough evenly in greased 13 inch pizza pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 15 minutes. Cut into wedges, 16 servings. Cool completely in pan before slicing.

1. Using a dry measure, measure the desired amount of flour into a separate container.
2. For each cup of all-purpose flour, add 1 1/2 teaspoons of baking powder and 1/2 teaspoon of salt.
3. Mix to combine.
